Ingredient Helper — Partial Data Deletion Request

You can request deletion of specific data from your Ingredient Helper account at any time, without deleting your account. Your account and any other data you have not requested to be deleted will remain intact.

What Data You Can Request to Delete

Data Type Can Be Deleted? Notes
Food logs and nutrition history Yes All logged meals and nutrition entries. Can be deleted in full or for a specific date range — specify in your request.
App settings and preferences Yes Dietary preferences, allergen settings, theme, notification settings. These will be reset to defaults.
Health integration authorizations Yes Disconnects the link between Ingredient Helper and Apple Health or Google Fit. Does not affect data already written to those platforms.
Account credentials and identity Account deletion required Your login credentials are tied to your account. To remove these, use the Delete Account process.
Subscription and transaction records Retained up to 7 years Retained for tax, legal, and financial compliance as required by law. Not used for marketing.

How to Request Data Deletion

Step 1 — Email your request

Send an email to support@ingredienthelper.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include:

Step 2 — Confirm your identity

We may send a verification email to confirm the request came from the account owner. Reply to confirm and we will process your request.

Step 3 — Deletion confirmed

We will process your request within 30 days and send a confirmation email once the selected data has been deleted. Your account will remain active.
